5 Things I’ve learnt through meditation

  1. You are not your mind

  2. Self-compassion and self-love are possible and essential

  3. You are the universe. We are not born into this world, we are born out of it.

  4. Buddhist masters are called masters for a reason. It takes years to understand the nature of the mind and then many more years to nurture and master it. So few have achieved enlightenment.

  5. Humans recreate the beauty we observe. We avoid the present moment wherever possible. Try out sitting with your eyes closed for 5 mins, observing your mind.
